The EPE Liner is a foam liner that fits inside aluminum and TIN caps for glass pill and packer bottles. People also know it as a polyethylene foam liner. It sits inside the cap and prevents direct contact between the product and the metal, so it avoids unwanted reactions. Its precise sizing also keeps it securely in place, without falling out during capping or transport.
EPE Liner: Material & Construction
This liner has three layers: solid low-density polyethylene (LDPE) on the top and bottom, with a low-density foam core in the middle. This construction creates a liner that suits a wide range of products. It offers excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, alcohols, oils, household cosmetics, and aqueous products. It also provides low moisture transmission and odor resistance, and it does not alter product taste.
